9 Church Street, Augusta

for the Spring Learning Event

From the North or South: Take the Augusta/Winthrop exit (#109) off of I-95.
Head East on Western Avenue towards intown Augusta. Turn left at the traffic light immediately past the Armory building (on the left) and head up the big hill. When you get to the airport at the top of the hill, the road makes a ninety degree turn to the right. Follow the road (now Winthrop
Street) around the turn and down the hill. Continue till you come to a traffic light at the intersection with State Street. Turn left onto State Street and watch for the church on the left. You turn right into Church Street (the next street past Oak Street) in order to access the church parking lot. It is easy to miss the large, cathedral-style church, because it is set back from the road. If you get to Bridge Street, it means you have just driven past the church and need to turn around.

From the East: Follow whatever route you are taking into the east side Augusta traffic rotary. You want to take Cony Street headed west across the river out of the traffic rotary. You will cross a bridge and come to a traffic light. Go staight through the traffic light (you will now be on Bridge Street) and take your first left onto State Street. You will see the church facilities on the left. Turn left onto Church Street and into the church parking lot.
