The meeting opened with prayer. During check-in Maury Landry was introduced
as the current representative of Penobscot-Piscataquia Association. Joanne Painter
and Linda Kimball offered to be the reflector and scribe.
Minutes of the October meeting were approved.
Ongoing business:
Budget: doing well
Training/Workshops: Advent retreats are scheduled for Nov. 16 in Bangor and
Dec. 15 at Rockcraft Lodge.
Annual Meeting: Carl Gunn reported that the Planning Committee for the 2007
annual meeting is scheduled to meet Nov. 21 at 1 PM in Waterville.
Convocation on Church Leadership: A new event is planned for 2007, a Spring
Learning Event, scheduled for March 22-23 in Augusta. Linda Kimball is serving
as representative of this commission.
Seminary Day: Carl reported that students at BTS in Bangor asked about In Care
and scholarships. The Portland campus Seminary Day is scheduled for March 28,
2007.
Anne reminded everyone that Dec. 7, 2006 will be Cheryl’s last say in
the office.
