Commission on Community Life

Eight members met on Saturday, May 2, 2009.

We revamped the budget requests for 2010 to conform to the request by the Finance Committee.  A new budget request has been submitted with greatly reduced figures.

There was discussion about the June 6th meeting, and concern that there might be an

organized effort to keep Rockcraft Lodge.  David assured us he has heard of no such organized effort. Many of the Commission members will be unable to attend the meeting because of graduations and prior commitments.

YMAT reports that Sunday, May 3rd is our Middle School Rally.  There are about 65 registered participants.

There were final goodbyes, farewells, to three of our members who are members at large and discussion regarding potential nominees to fill their places.

The Support Staff committee appears to be defunct. We believe that at least a thank you note each year should be sent to reported support staff members in the local churches. Some members took cards to send to support staff in their area.
