Spring Association Meeting

Oxford Congregational Church

Tribal Culture and Concerns

 

The Witness Life Commission and The Maine Council of Churches have been working with Maine Indian Tribal State Commission on relationships, which include economic, legal and social issues. Paul Bisulca, a member of the Penobscot Nation, will educate us about tribal culture and the official relationship of the Tribes to the state of Maine.

 

2:00 p.m. registration and refreshments

2:30 p.m. worship with Rev. Mike Ring

3:15-3:45 p.m. Business

3:45 – 5:15 p.m. Program on Tribal Culture and Concerns

5:30 p.m. supper $6.00

 

 

The freewill offering will go toward the work of the Maine Indian Tribal State Commission and their ongoing concerns.  Please make any checks to the Oxford-Union Association. Committee chairs and nominating committee please bring about 50 copies of any reports for the meeting. The meeting is at the Oxford Community Church on King Street in Oxford.
