Annual Meeting Display Space Policy

t Display space is offered at each annual
meeting for groups/organizations/ministries that are endorsed by or affiliated
with the Maine Conference of the United Church of Christ.
In order to be eligible for display space, the group must meet ONE of the following criteria:
The group/organization/ministry is:
1) A Ministry Team of the Maine Conference of the United Church of Christ
2) A Ministry of the United Church of Christ
3) A group/organization/ministry endorsed by the Coordinating Council, Board of
Trustees, Witness Life, Spiritual Life, or Community Life Commission.
4) A Covenantal Partner of the
5) A Seminary affiliated with the United Church of Christ
t There are a limited number of display spaces available at Annual Meeting. All display space will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is assigned prior to your arrival at the Annual Meeting. No display space will be available without prior arrangements. Groups requesting display space agree to staff their display area from Friday morning through Sunday morning.
t No group/organization/ministry is
authorized to sell any items or solicit funds, unless pre-approved by the
Coordinating Council.
t The enclosed Display
Space Request form must be used to request display space and/or obtain
permission to sell items or solicit funds.
Please fill out and return this form to the Conference office before August
1st . The Coordinating Council will vote on
these requests at their meeting on August 15. We will notify you immediately if
your request has been approved.
If you do NOT return the attached form
by August 1, you will NOT be able to sell items or solicit money at your
display at the Annual Meeting.
t Note: If you must ship display materials to
- Materials can not be received at the University prior to eight (8) days before the meeting.
