Annual Meeting Display Space Policy
Please Read Completely:

Display space is offered at each annual meeting for groups/organizations/ministries that are endorsed by or affiliated with the Maine Conference of the United Church of Christ.

In order to be eligible for display space, the group must meet ONE of the following criteria:
The group/organization/ministry is:
1) A Ministry Team of the Maine Conference of the United Church of Christ
2) A Ministry of the United Church of Christ
3) A group/organization/ministry endorsed by the Coordinating Council, Board of Trustees, Witness Life, Spiritual Life, or Community Life Commission.
4) A Covenantal Partner of the Maine Conference of the United Church of Christ.
5) A Seminary affiliated with the United Church of Christ


All display space will be assigned prior to your arrival at the Annual Meeting. No display space will be available without prior arrangements. Displays requesting electrical service will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, due to limited electrical outlets. Groups requesting display space agree to staff their display area from Friday morning through Sunday morning.

No group/organization/ministry is authorized to sell any items or solicit funds, unless pre-approved by the Coordinating Council. Any group/organization that wishes to sell items or solicit funds at your display area, will need to obtain permission from our Coordinating Council.

The enclosed form MUST be used to request display space and obtain permission to sell items or solicit funds. Please fill out and return this form to the Conference office before May 1st . The Coordinating Council will vote on these requests at their meeting on May 9th . We will notify you immediately if your request has been approved.

If you do NOT return the attached form by May 1, you will NOT be able to sell items or solicit money at your display at the Annual Meeting.

Note: If you must ship display materials to University of Maine, Farmington here is the information you will need:
- Materials can not be received at the University prior to seven (7) days before the meeting.
- Address boxes to: UMF, Conferences & Events, 111 South St., Farmington, ME 04938
- Mark boxes with Display Organization, Recipient’s name, and “Maine UCC Annual Meeting”
