Tax Exemption Information for the Hotel
Grand Summit Rental Facilities
Sunday River, Bethel, Maine
September 22-25, 2005

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING TAX:
The rates quoted on the Housing Form DO NOT include tax or service charge. If payment is made by a tax-exempt entity, the above rates plus only the 7% service charge will apply. The deposit must be made with a church check and tax-exempt certificate must be provided. If paying by personal check, cash or credit card, please add the 7% Maine tax and the 7% service charge. Please note that Sunday River does not direct bill.

Your registration form for overnight accommodations at any one of the Grand Summit Hotel, Snow Capp Inn, Jordan Hotel or one of Sunday River's Condominums must be accompanied by a church check (with the church's name on the check) and a copy of your Church Tax Exempt Form.

NOTE: If you've been told your church's state tax exempt certificate no longer is valid, it may be because it is outdated. To obtain a current one, you can call Dennis Hopkins at the Maine Bureau of Taxation, 624-8834. Be prepared to provide your old exemption number and he should be able to issue you a new, current one.

Personal checks or personal credit cards do not qualify for a Tax Exemption.
