Pre Annual Meeting RetreatFor Lay and Clergy Bring Justice into the World and our Communities Rev. Mari Castellanos will be retreat leader and will focus onthe Annual Meeting passage from Micah 6:8. She will lead Bible Study and help the spiritual connection to our life and the life of our churches.Mari is the minister for the Justice and Peace Action Network (JPANet), Justice and Witness Ministries, UCC. In that capacity, she works at establishing and maintaining the connections between the justice and peace work of the national church, and that of the conferences, the local churches and the individual members of the UCC; together “doing justice, seeking peace and building community.” Prior to accepting the call from Justice and Witness Ministries, Mari was a pastor in Florida. Today she describes herself as a “justice gypsy.” She works at the Public Life and Social Policy office in Washington, DC. She is an avid birdwatcher who is at her happiest outdoors holding a pair of binoculars To Register: Registration for this event is on the Annual Meeting Registration Form.
