The materials from W. Paul Jones’ Theological Worlds and Worlds Within a Congregation give us tools to uncover the theological worlds in which we already live. They are useful tools for helping individuals unearth the ’basic heart narratives’ of our spiritual journeys, and give us language for comprehending why certain forms of church life appeal to some people and not to others. I look forward to the chance to explore these ‘theological worlds’ with participants in the Pre Annual Meeting Retreat.
