YOUTH DELEGATE INFORMATION
Attention: Youth, Pastors, and Churches
Each church within the Maine Conference is entitled to one Youth Delegate. The Maine Conference UCC encourages each church to involve its youth. A youth delegate should be chosen carefully and in the same manner as adult delegates by each local church. Like lay delegates, youth delegates have voice and vote throughout the annual meeting.
EACH CHURCH IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING:
HOUSING
TRANSPORTATION
MEALS
SUPERVISION

Youth
All youth are invited to attend the “Youth Gathering” sponsored
by the State Youth Council and Youth Ministry Advisory Team, both Friday and
Saturday nights following the end of each days activities at the Conference’s
annual meeting. Each night will end no later than 11:30 p.m. and will have adult
supervision. Both Friday and Saturday Night gatherings will be in the Ballroom
North and South Room (located near to Lobby) Friday night will offer ice
breakers to get acquainted with one another and a movie. On Saturday evening
they will have a dance in the same room and snacks.
The above is subject to change and will be announced during annual meeting.

The State Youth
Council is part of the ministry of the Maine Conference, under the Commission
for Community Life, is inviting youth and other interested persons to attend
a "Youth Gathering" on Friday and Saturday evening following the evening
program.
Youth advisors will be chaperoning this event.
