1. LAST CALL FOR ANNUAL MEETING!! With the meeting only two weeks away, if your registration form isn’t in my file yet, it should be. I have to give the final count on meals to Sunday River on Friday, Sept. 21, so no meals reservations can be taken after that date. Registration to attend the meeting, plenary, workshops, etc, will close on Monday, Sept. 24. After that date, you will only be able to register at the Registration Desk at the Annual Meeting.
We have lots of exciting and thought-provoking topics to learn about and discuss this year, so come and make your voice heard, and enjoy the fellowship of others who “let their life shine” with the love of God. Any questions, please call Sue Stevens at (207)846-5118 or e-mail suestevens@maineucc.org

2. Is Your Church Using the "Gather 'Round" Curriculum?
The Conference Resource Center is aware of three churches using the new "Gather 'Round" Sunday School curriculum--Scarborough First, Bristol, and Bucksport. We are interested in finding out which other Maine Conference churches are also using it this year. Please let us know at resourcecenter@maineucc.org .
Please note that the Maine Partners in Education will be conducting two workshops in November to introduce the new "Gather 'Round" curriculum and to update churches on other curriculum options.. These workshops will be offered on November 3rd at Falmouth Congregational Church and November 17th at the Dedham Congregational Church (Please note this change in location for the northern site). Both workshops run from 9:00 to 11:45 a.m. Register with the Resource Center if you would like to attend.
